Imam Shadhili: The Light of Obedience

Imam Abul Hasan al-Shadhili (Allah have mercy on him) said,

“If the light possessed by the disobedient believer were made visible, the heavens and the earth would collapse into one another. How much overpowering, then, must the light of the obedient believer be?”
